Enterprise Instant Messaging and Group Chat

The server integrates with Microsoft Office, and communicates with internal applications for a collaborative experience.
Users can start an instant messaging session quickly with multiple parties, with both internal and external participants, and reconnect existing conversations for fast and efficient communication.
Audio, Video and Web Conferencing
With one click, users can schedule meetings with internal and external participants through Microsoft Outlook, and join meetings by computer, mobile phone or Internet with integrated audio and video.
Desktop sharing, meeting requests and other functionalities are made easy with its intuitive features. Lync conferencing works with existing networks and enterprise messaging, which maximizes the value of your existing infrastructure in-place.
Lync Server 2010 Enterprise Voice (not available online)
Lync includes the features of a traditional voiceover Internet protocol (IP) private branch exchange (PBX), and can integrate with or replace existing PBX systems for enhanced communication. Its enterprise-grade voice features extend capabilities outside the office via Internet access with no required virtual private network (VPN) connection or additional hardware.
Stay connected using a laptop or mobile phone outside of the office, and seamlessly transfer calls to or from mobile phones without disrupting conversation.
