As a NetSuite consultant, we share the mindset that the success of most organizations is driven by how well they manage their customer relationships. This hinges on maximizing valuable customer data. However, a select few organizations have readily available access to detailed customer data that can be the critical weapon in driving marketing and sales initiatives, influencing important company decisions and determining how your company will succeed.
For those organizations who may have access to detailed customer data – from transaction level details to communication touch points and sales interactions – unlocking the value of this customer data can be the stumbling block.
Consider, how well do you know your customers? Is information about your customers cluttered, scattered, incomplete, unused or lost entirely? If so, we may have just the solution to help you obtain a 360-degree view of your customers.
NetSuite – a complete and scalable online business management suite – offers detailed customer dashboards that communicate information quickly, effectively and in real time. Whether a sales person, sales or marketing manager, company executive or customer service manager, customer-specific data is right there at your fingertips.
NetSuite Consultant Demonstrates NetSuite Dashboards
Here, we present the second in a series of NetSuite Tech Tips where we demonstrate just how accessible and actionable customer data is through NetSuite customer dashboards.
Obtain instant access to customer metrics through NetSuite customer dashboards.
Piggy-backing on our first NetSuite Tech Tip, Global Search, key customer performance metrics can be accessed using the same functionality. Users simply key in the customer name, or related keywords or wild cards, hit Enter and then select from the search results drop down or results list the appropriate customer entry.
Once in the customer record, to see a dashboard specific to the customer, the user must select the gauge icon which appears next to the customer name. There, you’ll have readily available to you information such as current month sales vs. previous month, unbilled orders, overdue balance as well as reporting capabilities and transaction-level details.
Overall, NetSuite’s customer dashboards are very intuitive, providing users with deep industry knowledge in an easily digestible format. What’s more, NetSuite users are regularly commenting on their newfound ability to diagnose and act on problems on the fly with drill down visibility. Sales opportunities, quote details and more can be accessed directly from the dashboard, ensuring associates are properly equipped to take action to drive business performance.
